In the film he quotes, "I've been trying to tell this story for a long time and I feel as if I've failed to get the message across."The film grossed $49 million in the box office. It raised some controversy for a few reasons. One of the reasons was after the films release, public records came out showing that Al Gore's home power bill was over $30,000 a year.
