you can use any kind of rod you have old good or super. I used old b/c faster for ea catch exp.. old: oh! a bite! Pokemon on the hook

∙ 14y agoYou can use all of the rods. I have read that it is better to use the super rod but I've also read that it is just as good to use the old rod. I caught my own Feebas using a super Rod, so whatever u prefer.

∙ 13y agogo to mossdeep city walk towards the rocket place take a right a first set of stairs follow then you will see a house go in and talk to the fisherman and say yes and you will get a super rod that can catch most water pokemon.
