The Bible never states exactly where the magi came from nor does it specify if the number of magi. The bible simples says they came from the west and that they came with three gifts. The two most common errors of the Christmas story is 1) that the Magi came from the east, when in actuality the bible says the star they followed was in the east which means they must have came from the west. 2) People always say there were three Magi when the bible only says there were three gifts and usually caravans were MUCH bigger then that, so that travelers could protect themselves from thieves and wild animals. Plus a caravan of three wouldn't have caught the kings attention. Matt 2: 1-16
Yes,the BIBLE does say that 3 kings visited baby Jesus. They gave Him gold, frankenincense, and mur.Matthew 2:1-2"Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold wise men from the east came to Jeruselum saying"Where is He who has been born king of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east and have come to worship Him."
Matthew the 2nd chapter verses 1-13 specifically talk about the astrologers that went to pay obeisance to Jesus and present him with gifts.
No the bible does not mention it any where.
The bible does not mention which king got lost or for that matter their names (or even that they were "kings" or that there were three of them).
He didn't. The bible does not ever mention the names of any of the Three Kings/or Wise men.
These words are not mentioned in the bible.
There is no given name in the bible for the Three Wise Men. They were referred as "Magi" in the original Bible.
During the story of Jesus's birth.
They werenβt kings. Magi, wisemen, or astronomers. Also the Bible never says there were three.
That depends on WHICH three kings you're talking about. If you mean the Magi, the Bible specifically does not call them "kings", does not specify that there are precisely three of them (though there are three gifts), and it's not clear exactly where they came from, but probably somewhere in Persia.
You probably mean the anointing of prophets, priests and kings.
Three time
The Holy Bible does not mention a wife or any kids for him.
The Three Kings, also known as the Three Wise Men or Magi, are characters from the Christian nativity story. According to tradition, they are Melchior, Caspar, and Balthazar, who followed a star to visit the baby Jesus and bring him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Their story is commonly celebrated during the Christmas season.
