Oxygen Sensor. Or the Knock Sensor. Or you could check the plugs for faults.
Possibilities: Fuel mixture is WAY too rich OR the timing is out of spec.
mabye the O2 sensors
A bad fuel injector can cause a miss fire especialy when you load the engine up like pulling a hill. You may want to invest in have a three stage injection clean the fuel rail and injector.
One of the sensors is tripping the engine light. Codes need to be retrieved. Problems could be O2 sensor and or Catalytic Converter.
Any engine will lose RPM going up a hill, its called gravity and the engine has to overcome it. The heavier the vehicle the more RPM you lose. Thats also why transmissions have all the extra gears. Lower gear equals more pulling power and less speed, higher gear is less pulling power and more speed.
would the ECU cause misfiring
Usually if you are pulling a heavy load and you dont want the car shifting you use these. Like at a boat ramp pulling the trailer up a hill out of the water. Also if you have a load and are slowing down you can shift down into these and use the engine to help slow you down.
Head gasket more than likely! White smoke is coolant.
Most likely is knocking. Try next higher octane grade of gasoline.
pulling the people down the hill.. :) I love going sledding when dogs are pulling :) ~natosha~ Ryan babe i love you so much..!! :)
When pulling up hill the belt slips!
The engine running will cause air to come out of a running engine. The Internal combustion engine sucks in air, mixes it with fuel, ignites it, and then blows the resulting gasses out. Also the fan in front of the radiator moves alot of air. So unless you are coasting down a hill with the engine off, it's supposed to be blowing air while you are driving.
