I had heard (through an article) that he frequently wore "MAC" studio tech foundation. He also favoured Yves Saint Laurent lipstick , in "red muse". I personally don't think of him as a "Freak" for wearing makeup. He obviously was artistic , and wanted to put just as much effort and artistry into his appearance as he did his music.
