No life is a failure unless one intentionally seeks to spend it to doing wrong or harming others. Every life has a value every person is unique to every other. No matter the situation every life has a meaning to it. If one thinks their life is a failure consult with God and he will remind you that he did not fail when he created it.

God taught us through his son that we are required to love him and one another to be a success in life. Nothing else is required.

Depends. Sometimes those feelings come as part of depression and have no basis in reality. So it may be a good idea to do an online test and see how you score. If you score high, may be time to see a doctor.

If you are really a failure - its not a permanent place. Pick something, anything, but start small, and accomplish it. We used something called action plans in a course I took. You pick a goal you can accomplish in a week. It has to be measurable, and time specific. For example you don't say I will lose weight. Instead you say "On Mon, Wed, and Friday I will cut out my evening snack of M&M's" Then you rate your confidence level. If you are not at least 70% confident you will do it - the goal is too high so make it smaller. By setting and accomplishing small goals they will work into bigger goals and it will prove to you that there are things you can suceed at.
