First off, nobody should attempt to refill a fire extinguisher unless they are trained to do so.

There are 3 different options of what to do if you need one refilled:

  • If it is for a personal home, just buy another one.
  • If you know a company the fills them, send it to them.
  • Contact your local fire department and they can help you find where to send it to or if you should buy a new one.

To answer the question, nothing besides Dry Chemical powder (typical ABC extinguishers), or H20 (water).
