'Sprem', otherwise known as 'Sperm', the full name of which is Spermatazoa, are microscopic cells that are sort of oval-shaped with a tail that may be 3 or 4 times the length of the cell. The tail, or 'flagellum', propels the sperm cell forward by whipping back and forth.

Individual sperm are too small to see except with a fairly powerful microscope. Their shape is a bit like a tadpole- rounded, streamlined body, with a long tail. Movement of the tail allows the sperm to move, or "swim".

Sperm instantly starts to coagulate (Thickens, such as the way blood clots to seal a scrape or cut.) when it becomes in contact with air. Sperm will continue to coagulate for an average of 30 minutes to an hour after being exposed to air, after that period it will liquefy. If it doesn't and it appears to have a jelly consistency and a cottage cheese appearance, then I recommend contacting your doctor. Keep in mind that this is around an hour after the sperm has had contact with air.

It looks exactly the same as when it entered her body, a milkish white color. And yes, it is still alive and wiggling in an attempt to fertilize the egg. The reason it is outside of her body is that when the penis is withdrawn a lot of sperm is pulled out along with it. Also, after intercourse the vagina is relaxed and open, and if the woman stands sperm will drip out of it.

If you look through a microscope, they look like tadpoles. If you look with just your eyes, they look like white liquid.
