You should see the coolant circulating in the radiator when the car is running
By measuring outlet temperature of water at downstream of pump and upstream of boiler.
Food is best thawed in the refrigerator, however, some frozen foods can be safely thawed in a container of running cold water. This will reduce the defrosting time but it is important that the water be cold and running. For this method, the food should be tightly wrapped or frozen in a container so that it is not in direct contact with the water, the water must be constantly circulating around the food so that as the exterior thaws it remains at a safe temperature of 41 degrees or below. Food should never be thawed at room temperature or by using warm or hot water or in a non-running water bath.
It depends upon what you are using it for. I generally use room temperature water for cooking.
A certain amount of the energy carried by the cooling water, is kinetic energy, from the circulation through the cooling system. When the engine is turned off, the water stops circulating. The kinetic energy contained in the water is converted to heat, thus raising the temperature of the coolant.
Some hot water systems are designed to give you instant hot water. This is achieved by using a small pump to constantly circulate hot water through the pipes in your home. If you have an instant hot water system and you want to check to see if this is the source of the running water, find the hot water circulating pump (probably in the vicinity and downstream of the hot water heater) and turn it off. If you still hear water circulating, you should check further as you may have a leak in the cold water system. Hope that helps.
check for a clog that means water is not circulating
a pump circulating water between the pool and black hoses on a platform above the ground. doesn't work unless the sun is out. ice to cool it down. or you could have an outdoor fireplace with water pipe running over or through it
When vehicle is running: Water pump is circulating coolant and cooling system pressure is building
Bad temperature sensor unit? Cooling fan not working? Water pump not circulating coolant? Radiator plugged or restricted? System airbound? Thermostat not opening?
The thermostat controls only the temperature of the water.
room temperature
