If you are very hot natured & just realy want to stay cool then you need to keep the A.C. from 70-75 degrees on COOL : but then again if you think you can stand the temp higher than you can set it to 76-78 COOL. (It is highly suggested that a person NEVER turns the air up past 78 or it will get too hot/humid in the house) Hope I helped ;P

∙ 14y agoWinter months it should be about 68 for Heat and in the Summer months 78 for Air. Also make sure your outside unit is free of debris like dirt and leaves and also that your filters are clean.
