There are two possible things that it could be... it is more than likely your gas... if it has set up for any length of time, it is possible that you have bad gas... just drain your tank and put fresh gas in there.. the other is your spark plugs.. you should just go ahead and take them out and clean them really good, with a little bit of sand paper and put them back in and it should be running like new after that... be sure to drain your carb before you put the good gas in your atv.. good luck
check fuil mixture
First check for fire at any of the sparkplugs and if you have spark then check your fuel pressure and if its not within specs then replace the pump.
Check the crankshaft sensor. Also check the timing and timing belt. The backfiring indicates that the engine is firing at the wrong time.
The gauges.
Your car backfires when you need a new transmission,or tune up. How do you know the difference? Simple...if your car backfires then wont start, or wont start and then backfires, you need a transmission. If it backfires, and then starts moments after, you need a tune-up. Glad to help...David
It could be your carborator. Check that out. If your using Holley get rid of it. That is complete junk.
Its out of time. The timing is off, check the key in the flywheel , and check to make sure the the timing chain has not jumped or slipped a tooth.
it onley does that because its a Chevy but u should try new plugs
This engine is severely out of time or the spark plug wires are hooked up incorrectly. Check the link I am posting.
Check the package for specific information, but generally the pill should be started on the first Sunday after you START your period.
Double check, then triple check your firing order. Especially which distributor post is #1. Sounds like you're one off.
