My GSD who is a large 80 Kilo dog is suffering from arthritis can i give him small amounts of Co-Dydramol to help relieve his pain ?

yes... it is quite common to be prescribed BOTH.. for pain.. dont worry.. but it can cause constipation..lol x
yes co-dydramol does contain opiates, opiates are the oily substance which is with retracted from the poppy seed. Also an opiate is a pain killer.
Co-dydramol is a non opioid analgesic, Containing Paracetamol and dihydrocodeine tartrate. Used in central nervous system analgesia and musculoskeletal and joint diseases.
The ramipril and bisoprolol act to control your blood pressure. Assuming you regularly take these and that your blood pressure is within normal limits, then yes you can take all three together. Co-dydramol will not alter the way the other drugs work or are handled by the body in any way. Bare in mind that co-dydramol contains 500mg of paracetamol per tablet though, so you should not take more than 8 tablets in a 24 period.
