The size of a Cal (California) king bedspread is: 110 x 96 inches. The size of a twin bedspread is 68 x 86 inches.
The Queen is 6" wider.
In the UK a standard Queen Size bed is also what is classed as a double size at 4ft6inches. King Size beds are 5ft, and single beds are 3ft.
A full size blanket is for a full sized mattress. Sometimes a full sized mattress is called a double mattress or a double bed. A queen size blanket is used for a queen sized mattress. But, keep in mind that if you wanted to use a queen on a full bed, it would just hang over longer on the sides and at the bottom. Hope this helped! God Bless You!
A Queen-sized bed is 60 x 80 inches (or 153 x 203 cm). When I make quilts intended to be bedspreads, I make them about 96 x 108 inches, or 8 feet by 9 feet. This allows an 18-inch overhang on each side and a little more at the foot of the bed. Hopes this helps. I must confess, though, the current quilt I am working on is a Queen bedspread and I am doing it 96 x 102. dave I measured my queen bed to make a bedspread (not quilt) the bed is 60 inches wide by 78 long then I measured from top of bed to floor which was 26 inches. I will make the bedspread 112 wide by 136 long as I want to cover pillows with spread and this should give me extra to tuck under. So I'll purchase 118 wide fabric at 4 yds. If I wanted to make shams I would make it 104 inches long. I did make a king size quilt which was 126 x 126 so it was just above the floor and I had made shams for it.

A king-size bed is roughly the width of two twin beds; the bedspread then is about 120" wide by 110" long.

A Queen Size bed is a about a quarter bit bigger than a double bed.
It depends on the size of your bedspread. If it's too large to fit in your wash machine I would say yes.
A king-size bedspread typically requires about 6 to 7 yards of fabric, depending on the design and style of the bedspread. If the bedspread includes additional features like ruffles or a tailored look, you may need a bit more fabric. It's always a good idea to check specific patterns or designs for their fabric requirements to ensure you have enough material.
