No one knows when it was actually "invented" biomass. When u think about it biomass is basically burning a source to make heat. So wouldn't a fire be biomass? If u agree, this method has been known for a very long time.
No, Biomass is a renewable energy source. Bio mass is RENEWABLE. The duration and efficiency of renewal is relative to the bio mass source. Algae is the ideal renewable bio mass when equated per time
There isn't really a problem with "Biomass", in fact it is one of the most efficient ways of renewable energy source. The only real downside is that biomass fuel is running out extremely quickly; which means none will be left for the future.
