What is the best piece of fitness equipment to use?
If you're just starting out, I'd recommend a basic set of free weights. Once you have developed a workout routine, you can move on to more advanced fitness equipment, like a home gym, treadmill or elliptical machine. The best piece of fitness equipment is one that you will actually use, whether its home gym or a racquetball racquet.

Working Out at a Senior Age?
When it comes to senior fitness, there is not a cookie cutter plan or set of rules. However, depending on the fitness level of the person, some are able to do higher impact activities, while some require lower impact activities. Bone density and flexibility diminish as we age, so it is always advised to be cautious when beginning new fitness routines. Fitness levels among seniors vary greatly depending on many factors. Age alone is not an indication of fitness level. To determine fitness levels of someone of senior age, the same basic information is used as when gauging anyones fitness level: Previous activities and current activity level Health problems, past or present Injuries, past or present Knowing basic health information can aid in creating a personalized fitness routine that will allow safe activity no matter the age of the person. If you are beginning a fitness routine for the first time as a senior, it is best to begin with low impact options such as walking. Fitness levels may increase in seniors, but many times at a much slower rate than their younger counterparts. It is best to consult not only with a doctor, but a fitness professional when beginning a fitness routine. This will allow not only a safe, but effective plan to keep active at any age.

What are the basic components of physical fitness .give the meaning of each cmponents how health- related fitness and skill-related fitness difer?
The basic 'forms' of fitness are suppleness (flexibility), stamina (how long you can do an excercise for), speed and strength. These are sometimes refered to as the 4 Ss. Health in terms of diet or of fitness are different. You can eat more than average compared to your age group and still be fit, or do lots of excercise and still be overweight. It just depends on whether you burn at least as many calories as you consume. Sorry it's not a great answer or anything :-] I'm not that sure if I understood the question...
