A gas changing to a liquid is considered "condensation".A most common examples of condensation is the forming of little water droplets on the side of a bottle of water grabbed directly from the refrigerator on a hot day.

The molecules state of being changes from that of gas to that of being a liquid. The gaseous substance molecules has much more energy in it. But as the energy escapes or slows down, the molecules stop moving so much and there for bond better causing gas to change to liquid; and liquid to change to a solid. Solid particles are those whose atoms and molecules move very slightly and contain little energy.

The molecules in the gas go from being spaced far apart to closer together, thus creating a more solid form, which is the liquid.

They begin to vibrate more quickly when a liquid is heated, it will evaporate. ie. the liquid will turn to vapour (gas). if the vapour i s collected, it will turn back to the liquid again once it is cooled (condensation) muck love, kate
