Eli Whitney's cotton gin was a labour saving device which made cotton a profitable commodity. Before Whitney's invention a slave (in this case mostly a woman) needed a whole day to remove the seeds from a few pounds of cotton, a task now performed in minutes. This improvement led to the growth of cotton production in the Southern States of North America, where slavery - before this development - had remained on a relatively small scale (Jefferson and Washington were considered to be the largest slave owners of the colonies, while they never had more then a few hundred slaves.)
That is a very good question. Well when Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin it took the place of several slaves, which increased the speed of picking the impurities out of the cotton. This in turn took the place of several slaves, increasing the production of cotton and lessening the amount of slaves needed. Hope this helped!

YES there is agreta demand
I like this question, although I think it's really hard to answer. In terms of the ordinary materials in electronics (plastics, glass, casing metals, etc) there perhaps is a modest increase in demand. But I think the real increase probably comes from special or rare metals that are more and more sought after for their unique properties in the electronic components themselves.
I don't know, but it's on on - demand.
Higher demand, the higher the price goes. Remove the demand for something and then the price drops.

The technological breakthrough that led to an increased demand for slaves in the early to mid 1800's was the cotton gin. Since the gin quickly and easily separated the cotton fibers from the seeds, plantation owners were able to increase their rate ofproduction which resulted in greater demand for slaves to work in the fields.
Both the supply side and the demand side of medical technology are elastic. As soon as a new technology is available, or if there is a price reduction, increased demand will lead to an increased supply. At base, most medical technologies are simple, and do not use exotic materials, - the availability of supplies is almost unlimited. And on the demand side, there is an almost unlimited demand for various technologies (consider cochlear implants), as soon as there is a technological or a price improvement, the demand will increase.

When an economist says that the demand for a product has increased this means that
This technology led to greater profits and a demand for more workers.

For nomadic people, agriculture replaced hunting and gathering as their primary means of food production. Agriculture allowed for a more settled lifestyle, which led to the development of permanent villages and communities.
Brazil's agricultural output has increased due to factors such as technological advancements, increased investment in agriculture, expansion of land for farming, favorable climate conditions, and an increase in demand for agricultural products globally. Additionally, government policies and initiatives have also played a role in promoting agricultural production in Brazil.
