It depends on HOW hot the planet was. We already have people living in areas of the Earth that most of us would consider HOT. Someone moving from northern Sweden to Ethiopia would probably find the temperature unbelievably hot.
Technology you would probably need would include:
- any technology required to provide the necessities such as food, water, and oxygen
- probably a way to supply extra of water to stay hydrated
- a way to provide sufficient salt to keep a healthy electrolyte balance
- shielding from radiative heat (preferably reflective, not just shade)
- probably air cooling for inhabited spaces
- insulation from ambient heat
