Anne did a lot of reading, studying and writing during her free time. She would also help around the house and spends a lot of time in front of the window at the top of the annex watching the 'normal' people.
Anne Frank's father had planned to go into hiding for months. He told Meip to take Margot to the annex and keep her there until the rest of the family came into hiding with margot.

It takes two to keep a relationship together. If he is as busy as you and wants to keep your relationship together as much as you do then being busy will not break you apart.
Some Jews did keep pets. Anne Frank and the other members of the Secret Annex had a cat named Mouschi to keep the rats away. However, many Jews didn't keep pets because they made noise or ate a substantial amount of the rations.
Otto Frank asks Miep Gies to keep Anne's diary safe and secure, as it is a record of his daughter's thoughts and experiences during their time in hiding. He later decides to fulfill Anne's wish and have the diary published.

Anne was famous for a diary she wrote whe she, her family, another family, and a dentist went into hiding. She was 13 when she went into hiding and was found at 15 by the Nazis. She and the rest of the hide-aways were sent to concentration camps. All of them perished, except for Anne's father, Otto Frank. So, that's why she was famous. As to why she wrote the diary, it's hard to know. It could've been just a record that she wanted to keep, or maybe it was just in case she was found and she wanted to let others to know her story.
