All religious beliefs are interesting, to someone. Of course, those same beliefs are bizarre and wacky and unbelievable to others. Take my own beliefs, for example. No matter how stupid they seem, I believe. But you might say they're farfetched and foolish. But hell ... doesn't everybody have a virgin birth and then rise from the dead after three days? Duh ....
... the Devil loves you, too.

King Tut was apart with the Egyptians, whom believed in more than one god. The Egyptians had 114 gods. His father did! Akhenaten believed in one God, Aten. When Tut became King he was forced to abandon his fathers beliefs.
The pharaohs were considered to be divine.
Yes, that was true in ancient Egypt. As a matter of fact, the royal families of Egypt were commonly believed to be the personifications of gods and goddesses. Egyptian subjects were expected to worship royalty just as they would any other Egyptian god, and their word was literally law.
When king Tutankhamon was born, he was raised in the Aton-religion, which believed in one true god, Aton, the sun. The Aton-religion was made by Tutankhamons own farther, AKhenaton, and he named the boy Tutankhaton.
When Tutankhamon was 9 or 10, Akhenaton died, and Tutankhamon became king. The Aton-religion was removed, and with assistance from the army leader Horemheb, Tutankhamon introduced the old religion, and changed name from Tutankhaton to Tutankhamon. He and Horemheb tried to destroy all traces from the Aton-religion.
A wide range of gods, with the sun's disc as a central symbol.
King Tut restored the older cult of Amon-Re that his uncle Akhenaton abolished.
