CORRECTION to my previous answer. the Manager Connie Mack was the Coach of the AL, so he would make the 3 Athletics at the first All star game

as far as Athletics that were in the first All-star game there were only 2 Lefty Grove and Jimmie Foxx. However; Al Simmons was an Athletic and at this particular All-star game, but that year he was playing for the White Sox. He was an Athletic the year before (1932)
