On September 11, 2001, beginning at about 8:45 in the morning, a series of terrorist attacks destroyed the twin towers of the World Trade Center and severely damaged the Pentagon. The disaster is so great that in New York we have as yet, two days later, only guesses about how many thousands of people perished when the WTC towers collapsed. Commercial airliners were hijacked and flown directly into the three buildings. The first crashed into the North tower at 8:45, and about 18 minutes later the second airliner hit the South tower. At about 9:40, a third airliner crashed into the Pentagon. At about 9:58, the South tower collapsed, followed by the North tower at 10:28.

Then the last plane crashed in an open field in Pennsylvania.

The terrorists had an irrational hatred of Jewish people, and of people, like the USA, who do not share such irrationality. Since evil is what terrorists do to get their jollies and some pretense of power, they do evil.

Now, if you want to know why it wasn't stopped, it obviously wasn't because Bush planned it with Osama beforehand. Why would Bush drop such an anvil on his own foot, and ruin his place in history? However, the CIA and the FBI and all the other American government agencies were off guard and they weren't communicating with each other. They used to jealously guard their information and didn't share it.

But the root cause of America's foreign policy is the irrational hatred of Jewish people, and the bizarre notion they should not be allowed to live in peace in what tiny shred of their own property they have been able to retrieve. Perhaps when Obama returns the Confederacy, and half of Washington DC, to its usurpers, it would be time for Israel to consider doing the exact same thing. So what the USA is blamed for is a response, rather than a cause, to the Arab irrationality that caused 9/11.
As explained by Osama bin Laden, to bring down capatalistic, infidel, imperialistic America. Although it didn't quite work out like he and his cronies planned.

The destruction of the Twin Towers in NY was an act of Terrorism. The purpuse of Terrorists is to strike fear in a population so their routine life will be disrupted and allow for the Terrorists to impact a change in the country's government.
