I've seen as low as $7.50 for hourly and it can go up from there depending on if you are in a quick cuts place or a high end salon. Commission can vary on percentages. There is no norm, it is per salon and can be a tiered pay scale. If you are booth rental, you pay per week or day for your station and then any profit after that is yours
