∙ 14y agoGuangzhou also is known as Kwangchow. It's 13 hours aheadof Washington, D.C. Guangzhou is in the Chinese Time Zone. Washington D.C. is in the Eastern Time Zone.
China doesn't observe daylight saving time [DST] when clocks are set one hour ahead from spring to fall. During DST, Washington is only 12 hours behind Guangzhou.

∙ 6y agoThe easiest way to answer that question is to say that Hong Kong time is calculated as GMT plus 8 hours. In other words, if GMT is 1500 (3 PM), Hong Kong would be 8 hours later, or 2300 (11 PM). Now, all you need to know is what GMT is and you can figure out the time anywhere in the world.
