What to bring to go camping?

Well, if you're going camping, you'll need the basic camping essentials:

• Money(if needed)
• Water
• Food
• Clothing
• Bug spray
• Sunscreen(depends where you live)
• Tents
• Sleeping bags
• You know, the basic needs, right? SO go and have fun. :P

I know this question is only asking what you should BRING camping with you but I really badly want to tell you EVERYTHING I know about camping because I'm going camping in a couple of weeks and I'm very excited. This answer will be good for people who have never been camping before:

1) The first thing you MUST do when you go camping is make a check list of everything you can think of taking with you that you think you might need (It's better to bring more than enough than not enough). Here is an example of a camping Check List:

-T shirts, tank tops, long sleeved shirts and sweaters.

-Pants and shorts.

-Socks, Underwear and bra (if you're a girl).

-Pajamas for if it's hot and for if it's cold.

-Swimsuits (good idea to pack more than one).

-Towel (good idea to pack more than one).

-Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and bug spray.

-Running shoes and sandals.

-Hair brush, hair ties, tooth brush, tooth paste, face cloth, soap and shampoo.

-Flash light and glow sticks (if you have kids you don't like the dark).

-Water bottles, money and snacks.

-Pillow, Sleeping bag, air mattress (mostly for tent people), sheet to cover mattress and extra blanket.

-Bear alarm and peper spray.

-Rain wear.

-Anything else you need for medical conditions or anything else.

(Go through your check list three times)

2) Go shopping for the things you don't have but are on your check list.

3) Make sure you check the weather before you go so you can think of all possible dates to got.

4) Search the computer for all the best camp sites.

5) Make a reservation for the camp site you chose.

6) Record all the information about your trip on a paper and put it in a place you'll see it a lot. You should know the date you're leaving and coming back, the time you leave and come back, your exact location where you'll be camping and all the people coming with you.(It's a good idea to leave in the morning and come back in the evening).

7) Pack all your things the night before you leave and go through you packing list twice to make sure you have everything you'll possibly need.

8) Go to camp and have as much fun as possible!
