How do you get your dog to not be afraid of something?

Probably put a pillow that you've used and don't need so the dog can smell the scent of you so it helps the dog relax, put some dog treats inside and some toys. You may put the water and food in there so when it's hungry or thirsty... it can scent it from the doghouse and will need to go inside the doghouse to drink or eat. Once your dog has got used to using the doghouse, you can take the food and water out.

Well I don't know if this is going to work, but try to get food your dog likes. And put it next to what your dog is afraid of and leave your dog alone, until it eats it. Keep on doing it until your dog eats the food without being scared. If it's something you can interact with, interact with it and put the food by it, but first do the first thing I mentioned.

If it is a dog who is usually familiar and affectionate with you, assurances in a soothing voice (dogs are very sensitive to tone of voice), holding and petting them can alleviate fear. If the dog is not familiar to you, it can be dangerous to get near them if they are afraid as a dog that is afraid may be more prone to biting than they normally would. Dogs in fear may also urinate excessively, including on themselves and anyone near them.

If dogs are afraid of something going on, such as fireworks, trying to isolate them from the source of what is frightening them can help, but its important to remember dogs can hear things we cannot, and the high pitches of fireworks and other noises they are afraid of may be able to get through material that blocks the sounds we can hear, so just because you put them somewhere that you can no longer hear the noise you think is making them afraid doesn't mean the dog can no longer hear it.
