Probably put a pillow that you've used and don't need so the dog can smell the scent of you so it helps the dog relax, put some dog treats inside and some toys. You may put the water and food in there so when it's hungry or thirsty... it can scent it from the doghouse and will need to go inside the doghouse to drink or eat. Once your dog has got used to using the doghouse, you can take the food and water out.
Well I don't know if this is going to work, but try to get food your dog likes. And put it next to what your dog is afraid of and leave your dog alone, until it eats it. Keep on doing it until your dog eats the food without being scared. If it's something you can interact with, interact with it and put the food by it, but first do the first thing I mentioned.
1 take it out for a walk
2 if that dont work see a doctor
If it is a dog who is usually familiar and affectionate with you, assurances in a soothing voice (dogs are very sensitive to tone of voice), holding and petting them can alleviate fear. If the dog is not familiar to you, it can be dangerous to get near them if they are afraid as a dog that is afraid may be more prone to biting than they normally would. Dogs in fear may also urinate excessively, including on themselves and anyone near them.
If dogs are afraid of something going on, such as fireworks, trying to isolate them from the source of what is frightening them can help, but its important to remember dogs can hear things we cannot, and the high pitches of fireworks and other noises they are afraid of may be able to get through material that blocks the sounds we can hear, so just because you put them somewhere that you can no longer hear the noise you think is making them afraid doesn't mean the dog can no longer hear it.
you should slowly introduce your dog into new things and do not give up if your dog backs away from the item of gets frightened.
Maybe they sense that something is wrong when a dog sees you are afraid of them they know not to be afraid of you but if something is wrong they might want to give you some space.
When a dog is afraid of lighting it is called a noise phobia.
yeah and she'd/he'd also suspect that something was wrong with the dog or that he was sick and you were afraid to show him/her
They are not afraid they want to play
If your dog is afraid of others, he/she was not properly socialized.
They don't want to be hot dog
my aunt had an abused dog! usually the dog will listen very well because it is afraid if it does it wrong it will get hurt, if it does something wrong avoid yelling it frightens the dog a lot!
When any breed of dog has its ears back, it is a sign of apprehension. If ears back is accompanied by the tail down and between its rear legs, the dog is afraid of something.
you will have to either try to convince her/him that the dog wont hurt or isn't scary...if that doesn't work then as much as you might hate it you will have to get rid of it or give it to a relative or something
No he was afraid of animals then and now. its a long story, Derek Jeter had a dog when he was 10 but that dog was a bloodhound and it ate his hot dog or something so he didnt want to give it so then the dog attacked him
This is because your dog is afraid of you. It may be because you were too rough when disciplining it or another owner was. To fix this you will want to show your dog that it is OK when they are doing something good by giving them treats and praise. When they do something bad you should just say no, and make them stop what they are doing and that's that.
anything larger then it
