Many children fake sickness before school because they want to stay home and not go. I ran a daycare where a little girl did this every morning before our bus took her to school. I solved the problem by not arguing with her, but put her to bed for the day. I took away toys, books, and didn't allow her to play all day. She could get up for snack, lunch, and to to the bathroom, but other than that she was "sick" and had to stay in bed. One day of this and she was "cured". I never had another problem with her. If your child is doing this give my "cure" a try, but once started you can't allow your child to have fun, watch TV, or play if you do you are reinforcing the behavior.
