I was stung by 3 jelly fish, first I applied vinigar but dident feel any releif from the pain, then I had a VERY HOT shower with gave immediate relief then i put mono floral honey (pure 100% honey) on 2 of the 3 stings. The 2 stings that I applied honey too were 80% gone with in an hour or applying the honey. The one sting I did NOT rub with NO honey was still sore and still had big red welts 72 hours later.

100% Honey works very good on jelly fish stings.

Depends on what type of jellyfish sting

Box Jelly has few cures but it can be cured

If you dont get to a hospital in 45 mins. you are dead

Anacongia Jellyfish are not as deadly, but the same restrictions apply.

There are cures such as increasing the sodium in your blood.

If you have vinegar with you then you can pour it on the wound, it will help your chances of survival and the time in which you live. (If you have no vinegar urine will work as well.)

Symptoms are:::

Dizziness, Nausea, Increased temperatures, Red and blotched out skin where the sting was taken, and a pale face.

If you get a jellyfish sting, put ice on the jellyfish to control the pain. Pour vinegar on the sting of the jellyfish, unless the sting came from a blue bottle jellyfish. Wash the sting with warm water or cold water, and slowly remove the tentacles with gloves or a towel rather than your barehands. Keep in mind that the next time you visit a beach with blue bottle jellyfish, do not touch any jellyfish that is on land since they can still give you a very very painful sting.

An antihistaminic medicine. Or, to save money, rub vinegar all over it and that would disenfect it.

If available, pour vinegar on it, then get to the hospital right away. The vinegar will help to counteract the venom
