Breaking off a friendship can be difficult, but its all about the approach. I had to do it, because i just had nothing in common with this person anymore and we just didint click. So, in my opinion.. i think you should tell this person nicely that you think you guys have nothing in common and you just don't see yourself clicking or being there for each other. Just tell them how you feel nicely, don't suddenly bombard them and confront them rudely about the situation because that will just cause conflict. Tell them how you feel in the nicest way possible and just say its not your fault, we're just totally different people. I mean, not everyone can be firneds right? We all have different personalitys and some of themjust don't mesh well togetehr. Dont feel bad about the situation, do whats best for you!

∙ 12y agowell you really can't stop being friends with your cousin, because you're related. and you will still talk to each other, and you will still love each other, would you rather break their heart or be their friend/cousin?
i totally understand what your talking about if your cousin is a girl and shes being mean to you or shes jelous tell her to stop it if she doesnt dont talk to her stick up for yourself tell her that you cant tke it any more tell her if she doesnt stop your going to go for more serious selutions for this problem if she talks about your weight this is what happend to me my cousin always said that im over wait because i am a 107 pounds and im almost 12 and im 5 feet and 4 inches tall and im not over weight i am tall and every year year i gain 10 pounds without getting fat she is like 92 pounds she looks skiny and she berly turned 11 she is rude so i stuck up for myself and and when she said im a 100 pounds i said ur a 1000 pounds dont just sit their go for it

∙ 14y agoDo you not want to be friends anymore , or do you have a little chatterbox on your hands.
If you do not want to be friends anymore, just tell him/her that you have too many different likes/dislikes anymore.Your interests have changed, you have different goals you need to focus on for your future.
If it's a chatterbox thing, just tell them it's getting really annoying. Plus all the chatter is giving you a headache. Besides , constant cahtter makes your friend look insecure and immature. Tell your friend to get a grip or you'll have to spend more time away from them to get a little peace and quiet.
