To measure the mass on an irregular object, you can use Water Displacement.
Water displacement is a way of measuring mass. Materials needed for this are:
A graduated cylinder
Water
Variable (Irregular Object).
Fill the graduated cylinder with a certain amount of water. Memorize it.
Put the irregular object into the graduated cylinder. Find the mass by subtracting the first amount of water from the second. That's your mass.
Hope this helps, and sorry if you didn't need all this information!
ruler
Measure the volume of the object which is same as the volume of the displaced liquid in which that sinks. And measure the mass of the same object from a weighing machine. then use density = mass/volume
Steel tape is the perfect industrial measuring tool used to measure products. It is especially used for measuring irregular and regular shapes.
You use disfigurasation
To measure what quantity of irregular solids? If its volume you are referring then you can use the volume displacement method where you need a measuring cylinder, water and possibly a displacement can.Measure a known quantity of water. Then immerse the irregular solid in this cylinder. The rise in the water level equals the volume of the irregular solid. Note that if the irregular object floats, a sinker must be used to fully immerse the irregular solid, where the volume of the sinker should be known.Hope this helps- if you need more information email me @ physicsisland@hotmail.com

use a ruler to measure the lenght of each side of the object
If you want to measure the length, use a ruler.
Use the water displacement method. The object is equal to the amount of water it displaces. :)
I would place it in a container full of liquid after measuring the liquid. I would measure the amount of liquid displaced by the object. That amount is equal to the volume of the irregular object if it is fully submerged in the liquid.
ruler
because the shape has no correct sides.

A tool that u use to measure the mass of a object
Measure the volume of the object which is same as the volume of the displaced liquid in which that sinks. And measure the mass of the same object from a weighing machine. then use density = mass/volume
If you want to measure it's volume, place it in a measuring cylinder containing a certain amount of water, and measure the extra units to get the volume of the object
you would use a scale to measure the mass and a beaker to measure the volume. i need another tool
