There are many, many, many pieces written for flute; especially for solo flute and piano, as well as for two flutes.
My personal favourites are:
Teleman's Suite in A minor
Mozart's Concerto in D Major
Cecile Chaminade's Concertino
and any Bach, Loeiltte or Devienne Sonata
There's a surprisingly small amount that was originally written for flute. Bach wrote several well-known pieces for flute, like his sonatas. The Faur'e Fantasy is also well-played, and the Firebird suite has a really famous flute part in it, even though it's for orchestra. The Peter and the Wolf flute part is also part of most flute players' repertoire, but I don't think that it's paid much attention to by the rest of the music community.
most of them arent they are just transposed later on
the last piece of music that Bach wrote was cantata. and Greensleeves
Mozart flute concerto
