There are not many inter-city roads suitable for cars, and in many cases, no roads at all in large parts of Siberia. Driving from Moscow to Vladivostok is not a serious option unless you have unlimited time, resources and abilities. A plane flight from Moscow to Vladivostok is about 7 or 8 hours depending on the type of plane. The Trans-Siberian Railway takes about 7 days depending on the train.
