Im pretty sure its called evaporation, it evaporates into the air and gets carried up by clouds and the clouds carry it for miles and miles. clouds are mostly made of water. If it is cold enough it will turn into hail or snow and the steam is just hummitidy, moisture, or mist in the air.
The turning of water into steam or water vapor is known as Evaporation. Evaporation is the first process in the water cycle.
This is a change in the state of matter.
Vaporization.
"physical"
a substance that is in its gaseous state, like water that has been turned into steam.
Heat from the nuclear reaction changes water to steam.
Cool it!
in a physical change, no new substance is formed. for example liquid water. You freeze it, it becomes ice. when you boil it, it evaporates into steam. HOWEVER. Steam, ice, or liquid, it is STILL water. You only form new substances in chemical changes: cooking/burning food, reacting chemicals etc. : )
At normal pressure steam changes to liquid water at 212 degree F.
It is a physical change because the change is reversible.
water changes to steam by the process called evaporation
No, it is a physical change.
no, physical. The steam can return to water if cooled. Chemical changes are irreversible.
Heat from the nuclear reaction changes water to steam.
The steam when cooled changes back to liquid water. A chemical change is usually not so reversible.
it is a physical change because you can actually see the process
Heat from the nuclear reaction changes water to steam.
It changes it to steam by evaporation.
No. It is still water. So that makes it a physical change.
the water can change from vapor , steam , etc.
the water can change from vapor , steam , etc.
It is by condensation that water vapor changes to liquid water.
