a layer of Gravel ending up in contact with the deepest part of the pool then covered with non woven Geo textile filtering material to stop the gravel from getting clogged with sand and soil This system will transport ground water to the deepest area of the hole after that drainage is your problem. I would advise you have a talk with an engineer to make sure that this will work in your particular situation.
