The detergent injector ratio for a Sears pressure washer varies, according to the type of brand. The ratio of some pressure washers is 12 to 1 while others are 7 to 1.
Depending on the type of need for the pressure washer will depend upon the amount of money that will need to be spent. A job requiring less power would require a relatively inexpensive pressure washer. The average prices generally range in the two to three hundred dollar range.
SAE 30 full synthetic in the engine.
SAE 10w30 100% Synthetic oil.
30 Weight Non-detergent Oil
A Karcher pressure washer pump requires 15W40 non-detergent oil. It takes 4 ounces and doesn't need to be changed because the oil will last the for the lifetime of the pump.
When buying a power washer, one must decide on the PSI and whether to buy an electric or gas powered washer. Pressure Washer Direct offers a wide selection of pressure washers to choose from. Other retailers include Costco, Sears, Home Depot, Lowes, Rona and Canadian Tire.

For the engine, not the pump, 10W-30 is what Briggs puts in them, but SAE 30 is acceptable if your are not running the pressure washer in cold temperatures. I highly recommend you use synthetic oil in any air cooled engine.
