The temperature of a region with cloud cover is lower than a region without cloud cover. This is due to the absorption of heat of the clouds and the reflection of the water molecules in the clouds of light that causes the heat in the region.
During daylight hours, clouds reflect solar radiation back to space. Therefore, the maximum temperature is lower than if the sky were clear. At night, the minimum temperature will not fall as low because clouds retard the loss of heat.
Clouds cover the sun because they are so thick. Clouds covering the sun is a good thing because it keeps the sun from beating down too hard, making everyone too hot.
Clouds form when water vapor pressure exceeds to its saturation level! And then the vapor or water droplets... condensate. so clouds indicate that some kind of cooling and relating to condensate to what has happened= LOW AIR PRESSURE!!!!!!

Clouds act as a sort of buffer between the sun and the desert, as a result when there is no cloud cover the temperature would rise a bit. This rise in temperature would take place because the sun rays would be coming through "full blast"
