Saturn is a gas giant, like Jupiter, Neptune, and Uranus. As such, it does not actually possess a surface, per se. Saturn's surface is mostly clouds. At some point the core must be fairly hot and dense, but the gas pressure would just keep increasing all the way down to it.
Saturn, incidentally, overall has a density less than that of water. If you had a bath tub sufficiently big, Saturn would float in it.
Through a telescope, Saturn (the actual planet, not the rings) just looks an ugly yellow color. A closer look however, will reveal bands of white, brown, and even blue gasses.
The surface of Saturn is completely unlike Earth's because Saturn is considered a "gas giant." Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune are also considered gas giants. These types of planets do not have a solid surface that one could walk on, as we do on Earth. Instead, Saturn and other planets like it have a very thick atmosphere primarily composed of the gases hydrogen and helium.
It is made up of 53%hydrogen and 6%helium, there's even some methane in there but it's a gas giant and there isn't many surface features except that Saturn has a great white spot ;).

Saturn is a gas giant planet. If it has any solid surface, it is under a huge and very active atmosphere that may be able to erode terrain features rapidly. Since any solid surface cannot be seen from earth, we have no way of knowing if the terrain is smooth or rough ot in-between.
The planet Saturn is made mostly of gas. Under the thousands of miles of gasses there is a layer of liquid, and probably a solid surface below that, but nobody has ever seen it.
Rawwrrr... LeXi wuzz hurr
Saturn is gaseous.
Gaseous
the rings of Saturn are made of small particles of ice, also it has no solid surface Improved answer by Drazenfx: The landscape of saturn is covered with dust and rovky solids. The ring is made up of different chunks of rock and ice. ~Drazenfx
Yes... all terrain means all terrain in snow, mud, sand etc...
The planet that has a moon named Titan is Saturn.
Saturn is a girl
Saturn.
Saturn is a gas planet. The only planet after Mars that is a terrain planet is Pluto (which is technically not a planet at all, but a dwarf planet).
saturn does not have a solid surface, thus has n terrain. saturn and the other gas giants have a gas surface that is lighter than h2O if saturn and jupier were in water they would float. saturn's surface is composed mostly of hydrogen (H2) and hellium (He) and methane (CH4).
First of all, comparison to what? Please be a little more specific. Second, what terrain? Saturn is a gas giant, meaning that most of its mass is made up of gas. Below that gas is liquid, so there's not much terrain to speak of. There are probably miles of liquid down there before you can get to the rocky core of the planet.

The biggest moon is called Titan. Its size is significantly larger than the moon that orbits Earth. Ice as well as rough terrain are found across its surface.
Rolling terrain is the type of terrain in Kansas.
it is the terrain of Venus
what are uruguay's terrain
it is a major of moon of Saturn, third largest of Saturn, 11th in the solar system.Iapetus is named after the Titan Iapetus from Greek mythology. It is also designated Saturn VIII. it is the only major moon in the solar which has a very inclined orbit around Saturn, so from ipateus, you would clearly see Saturn's rings. its is also strange its shape because it has a walnut shape, thus having a 20km high many kilometers long equitorial ridge. this moon is also divided halfly in white and dark brown terrain. it is very cold on ipateus and it virtually has no atmosphere
i had to cross rough terrain to go to my ranch in mexico.
Blue terrain
Hilly and semiarid terrain.
