SARS coronavirus (SARS-CoV) – virus identified in 2003. SARS-CoV is thought to be an animal virus from an as-yet-uncertain animal reservoir, perhaps bats, that spread to other animals (civet cats) and first infected humans in the Guangdong province of southern China in 2002.
The SARS virus is approximately 100-160 nanometers in size.
SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) is caused by a virus, specifically a coronavirus. It is not caused by a prion or a viroid.
The epicenter of the SARS outbreak in 2003 was identified as Guangdong province in southern China. The virus is believed to have originated in animals before spreading to humans.
Rabies belongs to the Rhabdovirus family. The virus that causes rabies is the lyssa virus.
It is a virus: HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus).
SARS is a virus, requiring an electron microscope to be seen.
SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) is caused by a type of coronavirus called SARS-CoV. The virus is typically transmitted through respiratory droplets from infected individuals who cough or sneeze. Close contact with an infected person or touching surfaces contaminated with the virus can lead to transmission.
The SARS virus is approximately 100-160 nanometers in size.
Influenza and SARS are both caused by viruses, although different ones. Both of these infectious diseases cause severe upper respiratory infections. Influenza in humans, aka the seasonal flu, is caused by three types of viruses: influenza Types A, B, and C. Swine flu is an influenza type A, for example. Within each type there are mutations and countless numbers of strains and subtypes. The influenza viruses are RNA viruses that come from the family Orthomyxoviridae. The SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) virus causes the same symptom complex as "atypical pneumonia". It is an RNA virus that has been found in humans and birds. The name of the SARS virus is SARS coronovirus (SARS-CoV). It is one of many coronaviruses (some of which also cause a large percentage of common cold infections).

As of May 1, 2003, no therapy was demonstrated to have clinical effectiveness against the virus that causes SARS, and physicians could offer only supportive therapy (e.g. administration of fluids, oxygen, ventilation, etc.).
"Coronavirus" can mean a few different diseases. We have had a type of coronavirus in the USA before, called "SARS." Now, this coronavirus is also a type of SARS. This type of coronavirus is called COVID-19, and COVID-19 causes SARS-COV-2. Like how HIV causes AIDS, COVID-19 causes SARS-COV-2. I am not an expert, so if an expert sees this and some of my information is incorrect, I'm sorry, and please tell me. Hopefully that helped!
SARS is not a pathogen, it is an syndrome similar to AIDS. It is caused by a virus called coronavirus, but it is the mutated strain.
It's a virus called coxsackie virus. No joke.
SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) is caused by a virus, specifically a coronavirus. It is not caused by a prion or a viroid.
Polio is caused by a virus, the poliovirus. It belongs to the genus Enterovirus, which is a group of RNA viruses.
The structure of the SARS virus consists of an orb completely covered by appendages that look strangely like ice-cream cones with a scoop of ice cream on top. See the related link for a drawing.
