What types of organisms are at the base middle and the top of a food web?
In general term, at the base of the food web are the plants, in the middle the plant eaters and at the top the meat eaters.
The real base of the food chain in the sea is the sun... but apart from that, there is no real definitive answer or, I should say, the base of the food chain in a sea are all the photosynthetic( produce food by light) and chemosynthetic (produce food through chemical reactions) organisms that are fed upon by others, eg. algae, seaweed, types of plankton, cyanobacteria.
Producer organisms are at the base of all ecological pyramids. They are the only organisms which can make their own food (autotrophs). The overwhelming majority of them are green plants and single celled organisms which photosynthesise, though a few are chemautotrophs, that is they get energy from inorganic materials.
In any ecosystem there are 3 types of organisms Producers > organisms that can make their own food using energy from the sun. Most producers are green plants and supply a food source for other organisms in the ecosystem. Producers > organisms that cannot make their own food and rely on other organisms for food source. All herbivores and carnivores are consumers. Decomposer > organisms that break down dead bodies and wastes which provide nutrients…
All micro-organisms are no food poisoning micro-organisms,but all food poisoning micro-organisms are a category of micro-organisms. Food poisoning micro-organisms are harmful for a person but all micro-organisms are not harmful for example lacto-bacallius is a micro-organisms which is present in curd(yogurt) causes no food-poisoning whereas The microorganism salmonella bacteria, causes an infectious illness and can be passed on to another person and causes food poisoning.
