1. Plant grasses like lemon grass or Vetiver- which have fibrous roots and those that grow deep into the soil- like in the case of Vetiver-upto 6 feet deep in two years 2. Plants like Blue Juniper also prevent soil erosion 3. Use of geo-textile mats made of Coir or Jute- come with weave patterns and densities that can hold sloping soils very well, and permit planting of grasses within the weave patterns as well 4. Use of mulch-wood chips also prevents the erosion due to downpour 5. use of stone retaining walls can also permit planting of various other shrubs/herbal plants, though it would be a more expensive proposition to the first four options.
ROSES
Trees serving as wind breaks thereby preventing wind erosion, and creeping plants, which helps prevent the soil from direct sunlight and from washing away of its surface by water. The above are types of natural defense against erosion, but they might possibly not be the best.

agricultural farming
There are 3 types of preventions, countour tillage, no till, and wind breakers.
Trees, bushes, grasses, and any other types of vegetation are the biggest aids in preventing soil erosion; when the soil is bare, there is nothing to prevent it from being washed away by rains.
Erosion is the process of carrying bits of rocks and other materials. There are two types of erosion called water erosion and wind erosion.
There are different types of wind erosion. The main types of wind erosion include surface erosion, saltation, soil creep and suspension.
erosion created the Grand Canyon. there are five different types of erosion.
erosion causes floods,
Erosion is the process of the movement of materials from one place to another, and the four agents of erosion are ice, water, wind, and gravity. Two types of glacial erosion are plucking and abrasion
The 3 main types of glacial erosion are plucking, abrasion and freeze thaw.
