What unit of measurement would you use to weigh a cat?
It really depends on how big the cat is. the most logical one you could weigh it in is lbs. or ounces
A Newton or a deciNewton.
Kilograms (kg) or pounds (lbs) are the most common units used to weight a cat.
i think kilos or pounds or whatever you weigh yourself in. not sure though.
kilogram By strict definition, the gram is a mass unit, not a force or weight unit, but people use it as a weight unit anyway. It is possible due to the direct relation between mass and weight near the surface of the earth.
You would use Kilograms to weigh a cat.
First, weigh yourself. Then, write that down. Then hold the cat in your hands and weigh yourself again. Subtract the cat and your weight together from your weight.
For a cat I would use centimeters.
1KG = 2.20Lb so for a cat that weighs 7KG would weigh 15.43Lb
none. if a cat weighed a ton it would be dead.
The weight of a cat skeleton would vary widely because of the size of the animal. However, an average sized cat skeleton may weigh up to 5 pounds.
The unit and tool used to measure a cat would include a standard measuring tape or even a ruler. A cat would be measured in inches begining at the floor and ending at the point of the shoulder. He could also be measured in centimeters.
Siamese cats pretty much would weigh around as much as your average cat. Depending on the cats personality depends on how much they weigh. For example, a lazy cat is usually more overweight. An energetic cat will burn more fat and weigh less. The more cats eat- or don't eat- all effects their weight, too.
It would depend on what kind of cat it is.
Gallons is a liquid measurement and pounds are a solid measurement. A close estimate would be almost five gallons.
How did you figure if a dog and cat together weigh 45 pounds and the dog weighs 4 times as much as the cat How much does the dog weigh and cat weigh what formula?
The formula would be 4x+x=45. You would write out let statements. You would then solve the formula for "x." The number that you get for "x" is the cat's weight. Then you multiply "x" by 4 to get the dog's weight. To check your answer see if they add up to 45.
Generally, it would be pounds or kilograms. But if it is a small kitten, or a really skinny cat, it would be ounces.
The fattest cat in the world is Truman "True" Schwartz. When he died and if he was a grown man, we would weigh 400pounds!
I would probably use kilograms.
Inches would be used to measure a cat. If you want to measure it in feet or yards you would convert the inches into feet or yards, but leaving the measurement in inches is more appropriate.
A cat has to weigh at least 4 pounds before it can be declawed.
The cat will weigh the same as long as it dont eat or use the restroom while you weigh it
Certainly not. 1600 kg is the weight of a large automobile. A more common weight for a cat would be about 10 pounds, 5 kg.
Cats weigh from 8 to 12 lbs. A feral cat due to limited food supply would probably be closer to 8 lbs.
The average cat can weigh between 8 and 12 pounds. However anything around 30 lbs. is dangerously obese for a cat.
The colour of a cat plays no part in how heavy it is.A healthy adult cat may weigh anything from 5 to 16 pounds.Certain breeds are larger so will weigh more.
They Weigh 5-10 Pounds
Depending on the breed, age, and gender, a healthy cat can weigh anywhere from 5-20 pounds.
I would say just buy a normal scale and do it that way. Or just take it to the vet and let them do it.
You get the cat to sleep in a box and put the box on your baby scale or kitchen scale with the cat in it, then evict the cat and weigh the box without the cat and subtract the two weights. If your scale read in pounds convert the pounds to kilograms by multiplying by 0.45359
Using a formula designed for lotion 2g = 5ml. So that would be 2000mg / 90mg = 22.22. For the record, you are trying to convert a measurement of mass into a measurement of volume. This may or may not be correct.
There is no true way to weigh a cat without a scale. You can try picking him up and comparing his weight to other things.
A Bombay cat should weigh about 12 pounds. If a Bombay cat is over 12 pounds then he or she overweight! If so try cutting down on cat food or fish
an average cat weighs 4.5 kg
Depends on the breed of cat. Not all are the same.
In the wild an adult would weigh in around 120 lbs. The 2 that I worked with in captivity (zoo) were both right around 160 lbs though they were a little chubby.
Well I would say that unless the cat and hamster grew up together since birth with constant contact and no food availability stress, then the cat would see the hamster as a potentially delicious meal, just the same as a mouse. Any thing bigger, say an adult rat, and the cat would weigh up its options as the rat has potentially damaging teeth and is bigger and would fight.
The smallest cat breed is the Singapura. Males weigh about six pounds while females weigh about four pounds.
A healthy weight for a mature cat (two to ten years) is from eight to about fourteen pounds (three and a half to seven Kg), depending on size.
The fully grown cat should weigh 8-12 pounds(2-6kg), which is the average weight of a healthy adult cat. If you are unsure of how much your own cat should weigh, visit the vet and they will be able to tell you.
The cat should be weighed in pounds.

How much a 7 year old cat should weigh greatly depends on what kind of a cat it is and if it tends to have a large or small frame. Smaller cats should weigh in at anywhere from around 9 to 11 pounds, while very large cats can safely weigh 14 to 16 pounds, depending on the breed.
Adult cats can weigh between 2.5 and 10 kg.
It depends what kind of cat you have...
