Nicholas Jerry Jonas, otherwise known as Nick Jonas was diagnosed with Type 1: Diabetes in 2005 at the age of 13. Nick constantly asked if it meant that he was going to die (which I'm sure that all of you would do) but the doctor said he wouldn't if he took care of himself. Nick Jonas is usually a pretty nice, quiet guy, but when he was suffering from the issues of the Diabetes (before he was diagnosed) he was unusually crabby and drank a lot of water. Nick lost about 15 pounds and you could see his ribs. He had to inject himself with insulin, but then discovered the OmniPod. The OmniPod attaches to his skin and delivers insulin to his body when it needs it, so he doesn't have to worry about giving himself shots in weird places.

Nick Jonas's blood sugar was over 700! Luckly, for him he found a new technology called Omnipod. That helped him control his blood sugar.
