What was the contribution of ancient China?

Ancient China was very important because of the many innovations they made. Like health discoveries (ex. acupunture) Agriculture (ex. the wheelbarrow and chain pump) war fare (ex. iron weapons) silk, and the making of paper. Most of these discoveries were made in the Han Dynasty. Many things wouldn't be here today if it weren't for the ancient Chinese. Not only did they create important inventions, but as well as meaningful proverbs from famous philsophers like Confucius. They established the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, The silk road, and the Terra Cotta Warriors, which are the most amazing structures in my opinion. The Shang also developed Chinese writing. There is many ancient festivals that are still celebrated today such as Qing Ming Festival, Harvest Moon Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and of course, Chinese New Year. it was important because of silk; the european countries had never seen such a fabric before and thus wanting it, and also tea; this gave birth to england's national drink. not to mention england was able to sell opium to china's population.
