very haRD

As the other person said it was hard. It was very harsh because you would have to fit about 6-10 people into a single room that was about the size of about 1 or 2 full bathroom(s). The quality of the rooms was horrible. There was no bathroom, people used a bucket as a toilet and threw the waste into the streets. It was just a horrible place for a lot of people to live in. -Azumith Smith

The living conditions in the tenements were horrible. The buildings were small, crowded and run down. Because the buildings were built side by side, most of them had very little ventilation and could be suffocating.
