The Three Stooges were an American vaudeville and comedy act of the early to mid-20th century best known for their numerous short subject films. Their hallmark was physical slapstick comedy punctuated by quickly-delivered one-liners, within outrageous storylines.
The basic premise for all their work was that they would take any job they could get no matter how little they were qualified for it.
