It's hard to be sure, because we don't know exactly how Shakespeare broke into the theatre business. The first theatre we know that Shakespeare worked in was The Theatre because that is where The Lord Chamberlain's Men performed when they were first formed and Shakespeare belonged to the company. Before that, we don't know--it could have been an innyard.
Shakespeare performed in a number of Theatres. Before 1594, he may have been with Lord Strange's Men when they played Titus Andronicus at the Rose. After 1594, when the Lord Chamberlain's Men were formed, they performed at the Theatre until it was closed, then at The Curtain until the Globe was built in 1599. Shakespeare's plays were also played at the Blackfriars after 1608.
Many people do not understand that Shakespeare had already completed one-third of his career before the Globe Theatre was even built.
Shakespeare's plays have been performed in a huge number of theatres worldwide. During his lifetime, though, they were only performed, so far as we know, at the following theatres: The Rose (Henry VI played there Jan 16, 1593), Newington Butts (Titus Andronicus played there June 5, 1594), The Theatre (1595-1597), The Curtain Playhouse (1597-1599), the first Globe Theatre (1599-1613), the second Globe (1613-1616)and the Blackfriars (1608-1616). But they were not only performed in theatres built for that purpose. We have records of performances in private houses, at court, in the hall of the Law School and even on board a ship. As well, the company went on tour from time to time, and in the country towns they played in they would have adapted innyards and guildhalls as temporary stages.
