well the pack of cigs i used to get were marlboros but they cost me like 1.35 a pack..and 14.00 or so for a carton of cigs....depending on the state and taxes back in 1995...

∙ 14y agoIn New York City, if I remember correctly, they were around 6 or 7 dollars a pack. But everything is more expensive in New York City. In some states, they were as low as 3 or 4 dollars a pack. I think $5 was probably the average price.

In 1985, the price of a pack of cigarettes was about $1.70 per pack. However, this depended on the location and the brand of cigarettes.
About eighteen cents per pack was the cost of cigarettes in 1948.
It varies slightly, but they are around $12.00 per pack.
In 1972 I remember buying them in a machine at a gas station for my "babysitter"... for 50 cents. I quit smoking in 1978 and cigarettes were 55 cents a pack then.
It is still 20 per pack.
The price of cigarettes has increased to about 8.50
In the movies Clerks (1994) the price of cigarettes in the store is 1.95
You shouldn't buy cigarettes. They give you lung cancer. Cigarettes are BAD, BAD, BAD!! ...Yes Cigarettes are bad, but they didn't ask you that did they? Individual packs in California cost around $4.00 (+/-) and Cartons are about $40.00-$50.00 (+/-)
This completely depends on the price of the cigarettes and the amount that the individual smokes per day. For a gross estimate, we will say that the person smokes 1 pack of cigarettes per day and a pack costs $6.00:$6.00 x 365 days = $2190.00 per year.
