Unfortunately, Christmas has become commercialized - it's now all about giving and receiving material things. The true spirit of Christmas is in it's meaning - the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ and the celebration of why he was born. If persons put this meaning above all the material gift giving and receiving, I don't think Christmas will ever change. It shouldn't cahnge at all, because Christmas isn't about receiving or giving gifts, Its about the BIRTH OF JESUS.
