Throughout the story Anne Frank Matured due to the fact that she spent two years iin hiding and during that time she developed her monthly cycle and she also fell in love with Peter Van Daan which helped in the maturing process. She also had to grow up extremely fast because she had to be quiet in hiding or the families would be caught and sent to either concentration camps or extermination camps.
