What were benefits of the bubonic plague?

None. You died. However, there are some benefits such as the peasant class shifting powers with the noble class. The peasant class is the class you would most likely be born into so if u were born in 1347-1351, it was good for you. I cant think of anything else but Ill update if i find more

There had been an overpopulation. After the plague there weren't enough peasants to do the dirty work of the rich and so the wage rate went up. There was more land available, so more people owned property. There was surplus agriculture for the first time in a while and that freed many people up to pursue other goals which may have led to the enlightenment.

Some of the survivors had opportunities to improve their lot in life when they replaced skilled, or key, workers and tradesmen who succumbed to the plague.

People began to think more about health and being a doctor, and we wouldn't have the medical care we do today.

Because of the effects the Black Death brought to the human bodies, and made them to die slowly, the old government had more money (or cash) to give to the farmers and workers that had survived.

Also, there was more of the land to build houses, farms and buildings of which.

Though in my fatal opinion, I think there was no point in building more houses because everybody was too obsessed and frustrated by the Black Death.
